Le Tertre Feuillet - Le Gouray

Ces trois mystérieuses croix portent chacune des inscriptions : "Le Père" (croix centrale datant du Moyen Age) et, "Le Fils" et "Le Saint Esprit" (croix latérales).

Elles bercent légendes et superstitions et saluent à chaque nuit depuis la guerre de 1870, le Revenant du Tertre Feuillet. Ce personnage est habillé d'une longue cape et d'un chapeau noir pour mieux le dissimuler. Il y a plusieurs décennies, par une nuit de pleine lune, un braconnier de Gomené osa l'affronter. Nombre de secrets et mystères planent encore sur cette rencontre fratricide. En effet, aujourd'hui, qui hante ces landes du Mené ? Le revenant du Tertre Feuillet ou le braconnier ?

Le Tertre Feuillet
Each of these mysterious crosses carries a different inscription; "Le Père"(the Father), "Le Fils", (the Son) and "Le Saint Esprit" (The Holy Ghost). The central cross dates from the Middle Ages. They are a focus for local legend and superstition; each night since the war of 1870, they have been the scene of a visit from the Ghost of the Tertre Feuillet. This character makes his appearance disguised in a long cloak and a black hat. Many years ago, on a bright moonlit night, a local poacher dared to come face to face with him. Mystery still prevails over this dark and deadly encounter. Today, who is it who haunts the heath? The spirit of the Ghost of the Tertre Feuillet, or that of the poacher ?
